About the Project
Lifeframe was my attempt at creating a tool to help people become more conscious of their limited time and use it with purpose.
The Core Concept
The core idea was simple: give people a way to manage their achievements, goals, habits, and tasks in one place, but with a twist. Instead of just another todo app, I built an interactive life calendar where you could interact with each week of your life.
You'd assign each week a purpose, set deadlines for your goals, and force yourself to think about how you were actually spending your time.
Personal Journal and Reflection
Each week came with a personal journal where you could reflect on what you did and how you felt about it. The whole point was to make people realize that time is limited and every week counts.
This wasn't meant to be a social media platform or anything public. It was completely personal, focused on individual development.
The Journey and Lessons Learned
I built and launched it, and while there was some initial interest, I struggled with monetization and keeping people engaged long-term. After a few months of trying different approaches, I decided to shut it down.
Looking back, this project taught me a lot about product development, market validation, and the importance of finding product-market fit early. Sometimes the hardest lesson is knowing when to move on.
